Your generosity has helped ensure that this community will be better equipped to recognize the critical signs of mental illness and to help afflicted students get the support they need. Thanks to the generosity of early donors, this Fund is now a permanent endowment at Dartmouth. If you would like to contribute to the Fund, please click the button below.
As many of you know, Omondi, like students today, struggled with pressures from inside and outside, and with finding the support he needed to cope. With the recent suicides at Dartmouth this year during COVID-19, we are more motivated than ever to tackle this problem. For many of us, it is the cause of our lifetimes and one very near and dear to our hearts.
A small group of alumni have worked with the Dartmouth Development Office to initiate the new Omondi Obura Fund for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. The founders of this Peak Bag movement are thankful to everyone who has contributed to this initiative.
